Bailey University Technician Cohort Program

The Bailey University Cohort Program is a structured, career-launching training experience designed to take entry-level hires and develop them into confident, capable Junior Technicians in just 9–12 months.

Why This Program Exists

We’re redefining how technicians are developed across Bailey.
  • Create consistency across all branches
  • Accelerate technician readiness
  • Improve retention and long-term engagement
  • Build a unified, high-performance culture
Each cohort includes 6–9 apprentices across 3 regions, progressing together to build accountability, collaboration, and confidence.

Program Structure

Stage 1: Branch-Led Development (Days 0–90)

Your journey starts at your home branch with hands-on learning and mentorship.
You’ll Focus On:
  • Safety training and onboarding
  • Bailey Basics and core systems
  • Crown Apprentice Modules 1 (PM Basics)
  • Introduction to fieldwork and performance KPIs
  • Tech Connect participation
Outcome: Independent Preventative Maintenance (PM) readiness and basic field capability

Stage 2: Cohort-Based Development (After 90 Days)

After your foundation is built, you transition into a centralized cohort learning experience.
What to Expect:
  • Monthly instructor-led classes
  • Training led by the Technical Support Manager (TSM)
  • Standardized curriculum across regions
  • Continued real-world field experience between sessions
Outcome: Advanced troubleshooting skills and progression toward Junior Technician
